• Drink honey mixed with water and eat a solid meal immediately after Hijama, with special emphasis on protein-rich food. Eat a balanced and healthy diet that is not too fatty or spicy. It is very important to ease into a your meal rather than eating a big meal all at once.

  • Avoid consuming Red meat; Dairy products and avoid drinking Milk or Soda for 24 up to 48 hours after Hijama.
  • Know that incisions will typically heal in 3-10 days depending on diet, age, weight, and skin moisture.
  • Do not scratch the Hijama site. Keep applying Olive oil, Black seed oil, Baby Petroleum Jelly, Coconut oil, or Honey on Hijama sites for a few days or as needed if irritation occurs. This will speed up healing and moisturize the skin. Always keep your incision site moist and clean.
