Spiritual disorder identifying nightmares

The most relaxing time can become the most disturbing time. Experiencing dreams such as falling off a cliff, flying, drowning, failing an exam, being lonely in the old house or old apartment where you grew up, seeing graveyards, dreaming that your loved one will die, or having repeated sexual dreams; witnessing attacks by animals, especially dogs, cats, snakes, roaches, or monkeys; being covered with flies or worms; feeling choked during sleep or paralyzed upon waking up; and dreaming of eating food or being fed are all signs of spiritual disorders.

Why do I see nightmares?

1- A problem with the bedroom itself. In another section on this website, we covered in detail how there are inhabitants of houses from Jinn. Jinn could be good or evil. We need to clear this room of pictures, photos, and statues. Music and certain TV shows attract Shaitan to the room, so we may need to adjust lifestyle patterns. We advise patients to listen to Quran throughout the night at a very low volume, and not go to bed exposed or naked. Cover your body with bed covers during sleep. Recite Surat Al-Baqarah in full for 3 consecutive nights in the bedroom and then once every 3 nights. Spray the entire room with Ruqiah water. Cover your body with Ruqiah Olive oil before sleeping. We covered in other sections how to do this in detail.

2- Nightmares could mean that this person specifically is targeted by Shaitan. In this case, the patient is asked to recite Morning, Evening, and Going to Bed Athkar consistently and in full. It is very important to listen to Ruqiah daily and listen to Quran especially the Cow chapter while pondering on the meaning of the verses.

3- Do not kill the messenger. What this means is that your nightmare could just be a window through which you see if Evil Magic or Evil Eye is targeting you. Then your problem is not with the nightmare, it is rather with what the nightmare is reflecting. Other sections of this website cover in detail how to treat Evil Eye and Evil Magic.

The Trap of TIME

The trap of time is the trick of Shaitan never fails. Shaitan will make you feel that Athkar take too long and you do not have time. It will tell you have to sleep now because you are tired and you have to get up early. But, How about spending 30 minutes preparing for quality sleep and gaining rewards from Allah?

Some people keep tossing and turning in bed for 2 or 3 hours because they can’t sleep or because when they sleep, they see nightmares or feel that they are falling off a cliff, getting choked in their sleep, etc. Would not make sense to spend the extra 30 minutes?

Healing demands full-time commitment and considerable discipline. Athkar is the weapon against Shaitan. But Athkar provides (timed protection). Watch for time gaps in your Athkar recitations. Meaning that Evening Athkar will protect you till Fajr time. This is why some Sheitan and Jinn attacks happen after Fajr. To protect yourself, you need to get up before or at Fajr time to say the Athkar and then sleep again if you need to. Yet, if you still do not get up for Athkar, then recite them when you get up.

How can I shield myself for bedtime?

Bedtime is the most vulnerable time for inflicted patients because during sleep we have little to no control. Sleep is a mini-death, during which, the soul separates from the body and travels far. Yet it is ready to come back immediately when the body is alerted. So the protection required for sleeping is different because now we need to protect 2 seperate things far from each other, the body and the soul.

Bedtime does not necessarily occur only at night. So, if you need to sleep during the day or take a nap, recite the bedtime Athkar (supplications).

1- The first line of defense is going to bed in a state of Wudua. Most people underestimate the tremendous power of Wudua in overcoming Jinn and Sheitan. Some people are cured just by being in constant Wudua. Make Wudua before going to bed. To avoid gas at bedtime, drink apple cider vinegar two hours before sleeping and avoid eating 4 hours before bedtime.

Prophet Muhammed said, “Whenever you go to bed, perform Wudu’ as you would for salah (prayer); and then lie down on your right side and recite: [Allah, I have submitted myself to You. I have turned my face to You, entrusted my affairs to You and I lean my back on You, out of desire for and fear of You (expecting Your reward and fearing Your punishment). There is no refuge or safe haven from You except by seeking You. I affirm my faith in Your Book which You have revealed, and in Your Prophet whom You have sent]. ‘ If you die in this night, you will die in the state of genuine faith. Let these words be your last words at night.” Authentic in the book of Bukhari and Muslim.

2- It is narrated in an authentic hadith that when Prophet Muhammed would go to bed, He would put both his hands together and recite 3 verses of the Quran: 1- Surat Al-Ikhlas (Qul hua Allah Ahad) 2- Surat Al-Falaq (Qul aaouz birab elnas) 3- Surat Al-Nas (Qul aaouz birab elfalaq), then he would (yanfuth) blow air in his hand from his mouth, accompanied by minor droplets of saliva. Then, He wipes his head, face, and as much as he can of the front of his body.
He repeated this 3 times, and each time, He recited all 3 verses. On his deathbed, when he could not do that, he asked his wife, Aisha, to do that for him. She did these recitations for him on his deathbed, using his own hands as she said that his hands are more blessed.

3- Recite Ayah Al-Kursi (the verse of the throne in the Cow chapter) and the last 2 verses of the Cow Chapter “Surah Al-Baqarah” every night but In the case of Mas (being targeted by Sheitan) Recite them at a minimum of 7 times.

When you recite Ayah Al-Kursi (the verse of the throne) in surah Al-Baqarah you will be protected by Allah till the moment you wake up. If you get up to use the bathroom, for example, you will have to re-recite Ayah Al-Kursi again.

When spiritual patients experience satanic attacks in their sleep, it is recommended to recite Ayah Al-Kursi seven times into your hands, blow air or spittle into them, and wipe your entire body.

4- Prophet Muhammed Said, “However recite the last 2 verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, they would suffice him.” Authentic in the book of Muslim.

5- Prophet Mohammed said, “Whoever gets to a place and then says (I seek refuge in the wholeness of Allah’s words from the evil of what he created), nothing would harm him until he leaves this place.” Authentic, Book of Muslim
أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق

Transliteration:
“A`ūdhu bikalimāti ‘llāhit-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.”

Note: The Hadith mentions that the individual who says this remembrance will remain unharmed. This doesn’t imply that they won’t experience adversity. Although unfavorable events may occur, they won’t inflict harm. Take, for instance, a manager may unjustly fire an employee. While it’s a negative occurrence for the employee, it won’t ultimately harm them. Perhaps this individual will soon secure a more convenient and higher-paying job.

6- Abdullah bin Khubaib reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me, “Recite Qul Huwa Allah Ahad (Surah Al-Ikhlas) and (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas) 3 times at dawn and dusk. It will suffice you in all respects.” [Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi].

7- Abu Hurayra said that the Messenger of Allah used to say when he went to bed: “Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, the lord of the great throne, our Lord and the lord of everything, Splitter of the grain and seeds, the One who sent down the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur’an. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything that You seize by the forehead. Allah, You are the First, nothing is before you, You are the Last, nothing is after You. You are the highest, nothing is above You and You are the nearest, and nothing is nearer than You. Relief our debt and eliminate our poverty.” Authentic

Transliteration: Allāhumma Rabbas-samāwātis-sab`i wa Rabba ‘l-`Arshi ‘l-`Aẓīm, Rabbanā wa Rabba kulli shay’, fāliqa ‘l-ḥabbi wan-nawā, wa munzilat-Tawrāti wal-‘Injīli, wal-Furqān, a`ūdhu bika min sharri kulli shay’in anta ākhidhun bināṣiyatih. Allāhumma anta ‘l-awwalu falaysa qablaka shay’, wa antal-ākhiru falaysa ba`daka shay’, wa antaẓ-ẓāhiru falaysa fawqaka shay’, wa antal-bāṭinu falaysa dūnaka shay’, iqḍi `annad-dayn, wa aghninā mina ‘l-faqr.

8- Prophet Muhammed said, “Recite chapter Al-Kafirun and then sleep at its end, for it is a denouncement of polytheism (associating partners of worship with Allah).” Authentic, Sunan Abi Dawud

9- Prophet Muhammed said: “Whoever says, I seek refuge in the name of Allah. With whose name no harm could occur in the heavens or the earth” 3 times, no harm will occur to him/her”

بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم

Transliteration: Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma’as-mihi shai’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i, wa Huwas-Sami’ul-‘Alim

10- Prophet Muhammed said, One night the devils gathered from everywhere, and one of them had a torch of light to burn the face of the Prophet. Angel Jibril descended down and told him Say this Muhammed: “I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah, which neither the upright nor the corrupt may overcome – from the evil of what He created, of what He made, and of what He scattered, from the evil of what descends from the heavens, and of what rises up to them, from the evil of what He scattered in the earth, and of what emerges from it, from the evil trials of night and day, and the evil of every knocker, except for a knocker who brings good. You are my merciful lord.” Prophet Muhammed continues: “The fire of the devils was put off and Almighty Allah defeated them.”

Transliteration: “A`ūdhu bikalimāti ‘llāhit-tāmmāti ‘llatī lā yujāwizuhunna barrun wa lā fājirun min sharri mā khalaq, wa bara’a wa dhara’, wa min sharri mā yanzilu minas-samā’, wa min sharri mā ya`ruju fīhā, wa min sharri mā dhara’a fi ‘l-arḍ, wa min sharri ma yakhruju minhā, wa min sharri fitani ‘llayli wannahār, wa min sharri kulli ṭāriqin illā ṭāriqan yaṭruqu bikhayr yā Rahmān.”

Did you dust off your bed?

♦ Prophet Mohammed: “When you go to bed, use your undershirt to dust off your bed because you do not know what occupied your bed after you. Then say: “In the name of Allah, I lay down on my side, and in His name, I get up. If you (God), hold my soul (as in death), then have mercy on my soul, and if you (God) release my soul then guard it as you guard your righteous slaves.” Authentic

This Hadith advises us to dust off the bed as a precaution because we cannot be certain if something or someone evil is present on it. In our absence, Shaytan may have left something unseen that could disturb our sleep.

How to overcome insomnia?

A man complained to the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: ‘Messenger of Allah, I do not sleep at night due to Insomnia.’ So Allah’s Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘When you go to your bed, say:  “Allah, Lord of the Seven Heavens and what they have shaded, Lord of the earths and what they carry, Lord of the Shayatin and those who they have misguided, be for me a Protector against the evil of Your creation, all of them together so that none of them should transgress against me, or oppress me, mighty is the one who seeks protection in You, and glorified is Your praise, and there is none worthy of worship other than You, and there is none worthy of worship except You.”

Transliteration: (Allāhumma rabbas-samāwātis-sab`i wa mā aẓallat, wa rabbal-arḍīna wa mā aqallat, wa rabbash-shayāṭīni wa mā aḍallat, kun lī jāran min sharri khalqika kullihim jamī`an an yafruṭa `alayya aḥadun minhum, aw an yabghiya `alayya, `azza jāruka wa jalla thanā’uka, wa lā ilāha ghairuka wa lā ilāha illā anta).”

Bedroom furnishings

Though uncommon, in some cases, synthetic polyester fleece bed sheets and covers can trigger nightmares and sleep disorders for patients inflicted with Spiritual Disorders. While we do not know why, patients report much more nightmares while being covered with fleece blankets. Synthetic fleece bed covers transfer electrons and unbalanced charges. Jinn are often described as energy similar to electric current.

Ensure your bed covers and sheets are regularly washed and cleaned thoroughly. Opt for lighter colors for bedroom furniture, avoiding dark or black colors. Hang your clothes in the closet, keeping the closet door shut. If clothes must be left outside the closet, fold them and do not hang them.

Getting into the habit of lightly misting your bed, bed covers, bed sheets, and pillows with Ruqyah water mixed with salt can make a noticeable difference.

General Insomnia

Listening to the Quran throughout your sleep can provide comfort to the soul and calm the mind. Additionally, consider trying herbal tea blends that include Chamomile, known for their sleep-enhancing properties. You might also explore the option of taking over-the-counter, flush-free Niacin capsules of 500 mg (vitamin B3). Niacin is affordable and can naturally reduce stress hormones in a safe manner, without adverse effects from long-term use.

Nightmares?

A man came to Prophet Muhammed complaining of Horrible Nightmares in his sleep. Prophet Muhammed told him when you go to sleep say: I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from His wrath and His punishment, from the evil of His slaves, and the whispers of the devils and their presence.”

Transliteration: “A`ūdhu bikalimāti ‘llāhit-tāmmāti min ghaḍabihi wa `iqābihi wa sharri `ibādih, wa min hamazātish-shayāṭīni wa an yaḥḍurūn.”

How to treat Nightmares accompanied by headaches and dizziness?

The main therapy for this problem is by getting Hijama done on the head as soon as possible.

What if my dream is a warning from Allah?

Dreams are a double-sided sword. They could cure you or destroy you. If they are from Allah “Roua’yah” they would be in the form of glad news and good tidings. They could also be a warning. Typically, when you have a Rouaya (true dream from Allah) It is before Fajr time.
Prophet Muhammed said: “The most truthful of dreams are during dawn time.”

If one sees a good dream, it is from Allah and may be a glad tiding of events to come, either in the near or distant future. However, if one experiences a warning dream, that happened to be from Allah, then this warning dream may only manifest in the near future not the distant future. This arrangement reflects Allah’s mercy, allowing one not to live in fear or constant anticipation of adverse events. So, If a few days or even a week pass by and nothing bad happens after experiencing a warning dream, recognize that Allah has spared you.

Prophet Muhammed said: “Dreams are of three types: Glad tidings from Allah, what is on a person’s mind, and frightening dreams from Satan. If any of you sees a dream that he likes, let him tell others of it if he wishes, but if he sees something that he dislikes, he should not tell anyone about it, and he should get up and perform prayer.” Authentic

Keeping up with daily recitation of the Quran and curbing sinful desires can lead to profound spiritual insights. Some individuals report experiencing dreams that reveal insights into their spiritual ailments—identifying who has afflicted them with the evil eye (Ayn), uncovering the locations of hidden sorcery (Sihr), and discovering the means for their own treatment.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “A good dream is from Allah, and a bad or evil dream is from Satan; so if anyone of you has a bad dream of which he gets afraid, he should spit on his left side and should seek Refuge with Allah from its evil, for then it will not harm him.”

What if the dream I had foretells an actual future negative event?

Resort to Allah to override and overwrite your dream.

Prophet Muhammed said “Nothing could override destiny except for Duaa (supplication)”

It was narrated from Thawban that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Nothing increases one’s life span except for righteousness and nothing overrides destiny except for Duaa (supplication), and a man could be deprived of sustenance because of a sin that he commits.’”

What should I do and say when I see a nightmare?

Prophet Muhammed said: “A good dream is from Allah, an evil nightmare is from Sheitan. If you see something you do not like in your sleep, Spit 3 times on your left side (without saliva or with very few droplets) and say “I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the evil what I have seen.”Do not share this nightmare with anyone. But if you see what you like, then get your hopes up and share it only with who you love.”

Satanic Harm Renewal through dreams of being fed

Patients who are targeted by Shaitan will see in their dreams that they are being fed food, whether nasty or regular food, eaten or shoveled down the throat. The flavor of the food the patient dreams he was fed in his sleep is typically intense, allowing patients to remember the tastes distinctly upon awakening.

Most people deny experiencing this strange phenomenon, but once they become aware of its existence, they notice it happening frequently.

This is the method by which Shaitan introduces the substance of magic into the body of the patient. There are other cases when Satanic magic is renewed by means of seeing an animal biting, licking, or rubbing the patient in his sleep or even seeing a stranger hug the patient.

These are all signs of Shaitan renewing its commitment to harming this person. In other words, It means that the magic is renewed by Jinn or by the magician. There are many complicated programs to void this renewal of magic. Surprisingly enough, patients have some control over their actions in their dreams, so decline to eat in your dreams.

This phenomenon of being fed in dreams typically begins only after seeking Ruqyah therapy, as the cleansing process prompts the jinn to cling on and resist in order to continue their destruction. It usually affects patients nearing recovery and also when a patient constantly says “Bismillah” before eating, which starves the jinn of the sustenance it needs. After experiencing such dreams, patients often wake with headaches or stomachaches, turning the affliction from purely spiritual to both spiritual and physical. The effective Ruqyah the patient may have is when the Ruqiah it takes place at a time farthest away from the last renewal of magic.

The majority of magic renewal nightmares occur after Fajr time, So pray Fajr on time and recite the Morning Athkar immediately after. it is better to avoid sleeping after Fajr or dawn time.

Patients should keep in mind that if they go to sleep after Fajr, they need to recite all the going to sleep Athkar again because their protection will have expired then.

Patients employ a variety of practices to fortify themselves against Sihr renewal, all of which are considered acceptable. You may still be presented with food but won’t eat it inshallah.

1- Recite this verse 7 times before falling asleep:
“Eat not of that on which Allah’s Name has not been pronounced, for it is indeed a disobedience” (Quran 6:121).

١٢١  وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ ۗ

2- Say 3 times “In the name of Allah”

and then say 7 times,

“I seek refuge in Allah’s might and power against the evil of being fed in my sleep and the evil of satanic harm renewal.”

3- Say “In the name of Allah, the Great, I intend not to eat or drink.”

Other methods patient incorporate may include:

1- Eating 7 dates for dinner before brushing teeth and going to bed.
2- Placing Black Seed in the mouth overnight.
3- Spraying Ruqiah water around their bedroom, on their bed, and on themselves.
4- Sipping on Ruqiah water before sleeping.
5- Burning loose Ruqiah incense mixed with Black Seed or Frankincense.
6- Applying Ruqiah olive oil over the mouth and the entire body.
6- Taping their mouths shut with medical tape throughout the night.
7- Drinking Zamzam Ruqiah water right before sleeping.
Consuming Ruqiah honey before falling asleep.

During Ruqyah Sihr Renewal

Interestingly, Sihr Renewal can occur during the Ruqiah itself. The patient may feel drowsy and enter a state between wakefulness and sleep, during which they might see themselves being fed food. If this happens, the patient should fortify themselves with the aforementioned measures before beginning the Ruqyah.

If the fed Sihr renewal is already done:

The easiest way is to follow the advice of Prophet Muhammed which is to spit (Yes, spit, with or without saliva) thrice on your left side and say “I seek refuge in Allah against the evil I have seen.”

If you already forgot to say the above and spittle, do that then when you get up. Go back to the basics of treatment like spraying your bedroom with Ruqiah water and reciting your morning, evening, and going to bed Athkar in full. Brush your teeth with Miswak before going to bed (tooth cleaning stick). Additionally, take Senna tablets with Ruqiah water, and drink a big cup of Ruqia water mixed with honey to void the effect of Sihr Renewal.

Still having difficulties while sleeping? Qyam is the way to go.

Then let us resort to the big gun. Since you are losing sleep anyway, do not stay in bed and let Jinn keep attacking you. Stop!! Get up, make Wudua, and pray to Rakeas (units of Muslim prayers) in your bedroom. Then go to sleep. Will this work? Yes but their is a big chance that sheitan will attack again to make you desperately feel that nightly prayers do not work.

  • So what should I do now?

Get up again and pray to Rakeas again. Be calm and smile before and after praying. Get up with energy and contentedness. Make sure you keep praising and thanking Allah in your prayers. When you go back to bed. Be on standby mode ready to get up and pray again if you experience even a mild or minor attack from the Shaytan. All you need to do is to leave a nightlight one and know where the clothes you wear in your prayers are. More than likely as a spiritual patient, you will keep losing Wudua because of constant gas and bloating in your stomach. This bloating is from Shaitan to make you always lose your state of Wudua so you become an easy target. So make Wudua again.

  • Do Qyam for how long?

Do it for as long as you have attacks even if you do this every night.

  • What is expected to happen after that?

Jinn will leave you and then you will stop the nightly prayers. After many many nights shaitan Will come again. Do not forget to do the nightly prayers during attacks.

But will I get up a little tired? Maybe you will get up a little tired but you will be able to perform semi-normally throughout the day. The duration of your sleep is not the only or main factor of quality of sleep.

  • Am I rewarded for Qyam?

Yes heavily InshaAllah more than you could ever imagine. Allah knows that Shaitan is whispering to you that either Quran doesn’t work or Allah gave up on you. It is a hard trail from Allah. So keep clinging and holding on to your faith.

These nightly prayers are more difficult and confusing for Shaitan than you could ever think. If the Shaitan attacks again, it will experience more torture because of Qyam but if it doesn’t attack you again, you will recognize that therapy works. Anyway, the Shaitan may try hurting you a few more times but it will fear your consistency and contentment. Praying 2 Rakea at night is not just for insomnia. It is also to help overcome attacks in the form of stinging, itchiness, pinching, suffocation, sexual thoughts, feeling like falling off a cliff, etc.

  • How to gauge your power level?

If you get up for Qyam feeling lazy, or you get up but sit in bed thinking you can’t do Qyam because you are too tired, this means your spirit is weak and you are about to lose the fight. If you get up with contentment and energy to pray, this indicates that your spirit is strong and resilient.

Why do I see dreams of the future?

It is not a sign of being good or bad. Muslims and non-Muslims, Righteous and wrongdoers see dreams of future events that occur and happen exactly as they have seen them. Allah says in the Quran that no one could know the future except for Allah and however, Allah permits.

Have you ever had a dream about a completely unexpected event that later came true? For instance, dreaming that you’ll encounter a childhood friend you haven’t seen in 20 years, dressed in a blue shirt while purchasing yogurt at the store, only for it to manifest in reality.

In my opinion, Allah lets you see the future in advance. There is no scientific explanation for how you know this piece of the future. You could not have requested or planned to know the unexpected future. Thus, when a higher authority (God) reveals information about future events such as the Day of Judgment, heavens, and hellfire, it is imperative to believe in it, even in the absence of materialistic and scientific evidence.
