The Spiritual Therapy involves a threefold strategy, all of which are discussed in various sections of this website.
1- Lifestyle changes.
2- Subordinate physical treatment.
3- Ruqyah.
Ruqyah Treatment Program
Do not think that Allah has left you without a cure or given you a complicated one. You can seek healing for free by listening to Surat Al-Nas, Al-Falaq, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Fatihah, and Ayat Al-Kursi. Just be consistent and understand how to do it properly and consistently. Below is the general treatment program. You can add other specific treatments from this website as appropriate for your condition.
- Pray the 5 daily prayers on time.
- Make Wudua before going to bed.
- Recite Going to bed, Morning and Evening Athkar (remembrance) in full.
- Recite or listen to Ayah Al-Kursi consistently for about an hour daily in a dedicated, still, and quiet position, eliminating any and all distractions. Preferably, lay flat on your back with your limbs extended and eyes closed.
- Recite or listen to Surah Al-Falaq and Surah Al-Nas consistently for about an hour daily in a dedicated, still, and quiet position, eliminating any and all distractions. Preferably, lay flat on your back with your limbs extended and eyes closed.
- Recite or listen to Surah Al-Baqarah at least once every 3 days.
Note: If you can’t recite Quran and Athkar in Arabic, then listen to them attentively while reading or listening to the translation. There are numerous free Athkar apps to download online on your cell phone.

The greatest Ruqyah in the book of Allah
1- Surah (chapter) Al-Fatiha.
2-Ayah (verse) Al-Korsi.
3- The Last 2 verses of Surah Al-Baqarah.
4- The last 3 chapters of the Quran (Surah Al-Falaq, Al-Nas, and Al-Ikhlas).
7 effective points for protection against Jinn
- Seek refuge in Allah. If confronted by a dog on a farm, what action would you take? You would attempt to push the dog away. However, if the dog persists in attacking despite your efforts to push it back, this could prolong the encounter and potentially result in an unfavorable outcome. The most straightforward solution is to call on the farm owner and request his assistance in safeguarding you from the dog. This analogy can be applied to our relationship with God when confronted by the demons.
- Start everything you do or say by saying “Bismellah” (In the name of Allah). When you say so before doing anything, Shaitan will stay away from you, and Allah will bless whatever you started.
- Give Sadaqah (charity). You could never imagine the power of Sadaqah in keeping harm away from you, especially in the case of Hasad and Sihr.
- Be always in a state of Wudua. This shields you from shaitan and protects you. Never go to sleep, unless you are in a state of Wudua, even if you lose it very quickly when get to your bed. Going to sleep is the most difficult and scary part for patients who experience harm from Jinn and Sheitan (Mas) because in our sleep we become vulnerable and lose control.
- Pray at night additional, voluntary prayers. The harm of Sheitan could not last if you keep up with this Qyam (nightly prayers after Isha time).
- Read or listen to the Quran daily even if you are busy or exhausted.
- Keep up consistently with Morning, evening, and going to bed Athkar (remembrance).
What if I don’t speak Arabic?
you are not alone. The majority of Muslims are not Arabic-speaking. Seek to learn some Arabic while believing that the mercy of Allah will cover your pronunciation shortcomings.
“Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.” [Al-Baqarah:286]
1- Quran:
Listen to the recorded verses of the Quran you will gradually learn how to say them. Listen to them while attentively reading the translation or the subtitles. You can also find the translated surah on YouTube or other media with translated subtitles.
You will find this website very helpful because it will recite each verse twice, once in Arabic and once in English while displaying the original text and the translation in modern English. https://www.quranful.com/
♦ Prophet Muhammed said, “Whoever is proficient with Quran, is in the company of the honorable and righteous angels and whoever recites the Quran while stuttering as it is difficult for him, gets double the reward.” (agreed upon)
2- Athkar (Remembrance):
Athkar should be recited in Arabic. Read the translation first and then read the Arabic text using the transliteration. Transliteration means that the Arabic text will be spelled in the characters of another alphabet. This method might be difficult in the beginning but after listening to the recorded Athkar in Arabic a few times, most people find transliteration to be easy. You will find here links to Athkar with the transliteration and you will find also the recorded Athkar in Arabic.
Mindset
Be proud of yourself. You are fighting against evil entities to preserve your faith. You could have given up and let this experience shake your faith but you decided to fight the unseen evil and overcome your enemies. Know that your fight is not for free, you will be rewarded for it on the day of judgment. Instead of testing your faith with a physical ailment, God has chosen to test it with a spiritual affliction. This means your heart will remain consistently connected to God and the Quran rather than solely relying on medical professionals. If Allah has decreed that you will face a calamity, would it be more manageable to endure a spiritual disorder or a physical illness like cancer, for example? All praise be to Allah for His boundless mercy.
⇒ Note the difference between being hurt and being harmed. Being hurt is to experience pain that is temporary and without any serious consequences. Being harmed means experiencing pain as the result of lasting damage.
The protection you are provided by treatment is against being harmed rather than against being hurt. So, Yes you will still experience headaches, stomachache, stinging, nightmares, depression, bloating, etc despite the recitations until you are fully treated. If your expectation of protection is that you will be invincible because you recited Athkar and Quran, then you are mistaken.
Abandon the sins and then supplicate to Allah
♦ Prophet Muhammed said, “A man would travel far (as when doing good deeds or while doing Hajj / Umrah) that he becomes dusty and his hair becomes messy. He lifts his hand to the heavens pleading to God “O My Lord, My Lord”. However, his food is earned by doing what is forbidden, his drink is earned by doing what is forbidden, his clothes are earned by doing what is forbidden and he was fed off what is forbidden, How could his prayers be answered?” Authentic in the book of Muslim
Diagnosis of satanic harm
While diagnosis is important, set your eyes on the treatment, not on the diagnosis. Shaitan is evil in all cases. How, why, and when they harm you is not as significant. The important thing is the end result which is to be cured. For example, If you are thirsty, Drink Water, do not spend your time thinking about the effect of being thirsty on you.
What if I am too busy?
We are never too busy; the perception of being “too busy” is a state of mind. Dedication of time and effort is essential. If unable to allocate dedicated time, consider playing Ruqyah on speakers. Alternatively, use headphones covering both ears, or a Bluetooth headset on the left ear. Consistently play recitations and Athkar from your cell phone at a low volume.
Repetition is the treatment
The words of Allah feel like burning fire on the Shaitan. However, Allah created every creature with a certain tolerance threshold. As a human, you have certain tolerance regarding how many times you can repeat the verses of the Quran and Athkar. On the other hand, Shaitan has tolerance in regards to how many times it can hear the verses. Patients can recite or listen or alternate between reciting and listening.
The definition of being cured: is when your tolerance (for listening to the Ruqiah along with changing your lifestyle) exceeds the Shaitan’s tolerance (of hearing the Ruqiah).
To the point, therapists explain that in the face of whispers or assaults from Shaitan, it is advised not to utter “a’aoth Billah min Alshaitan Arrajeem” (I seek refuge in Allah against the accursed Shaitan) just once or thrice. Instead, one should persistently and continuously repeat this phrase until a sense of relief is experienced.
Fighting against Shaitan is like boxing. Everyone is looking to score the knockout strike as quickly as possible. Very few of us stay composed and focused throughout the fight. We have to apply strategy and plan. If you keep looking for shortcuts, you could spend years in a loophole and lose your faith in the process.
Claims made that the Jinn left during the Ruqiah and then came back after Ruqiah are not true. Jinn might go incognito or dormant so that the patient and Raqi think that the Jinn left the body but it did not. The human body is not an amusement park for the Jinn to come inside and leave randomly. The patient has to be in a vulnerable state. Further elaboration on vulnerability can be found in other sections of this website.
Athkar Adhkar
- Athkar: Remembrance of Allah by reciting certain Quranic verses or supplications and prayers prescribed by Prophet Muhammed on specific occasions or specific times. Athkar bring blessings to you and the protection of Allah.
- The essential Athkar that you need to adhere to are: Morning, Evening, and Going to bed Athkar.
- If you do Ruqiah without reciting the daily Athkar, your Ruqiah will not be as effective. Realize that Jinn inside the body do not work alone. Shaitan attack in large groups. They alternate the same way hyenas or wild dogs attack and they get backup support from outside Jinn.
- Morning, Evening, and Going to bed Athkar disrupts the connection between the inside Jinn and the outside supporting Jinn.
- If you have already been inflicted, Jinn inside the body may still attack you despite Athkar. It is like wearing a helmet but after getting into an accident, not before. However, reciting Athkar will make Shaitan attacks annoying rather than damaging.
- Make sure your recitations are audible, at the very least you should be able to hear yourself.
- Notice the difference between Protection and Treatment Mode. In most cases, Treatment Mode is the same as Protection Mode but at a much higher repetition rate.
- Some claim that they have said the Athkar but yet they experience severe attacks from Jinn and Shaitan. However, when you observe how they recite Athkar, you would find that they recite them inattentively and skip significant portions of them.
- Realize that “Going to bed Athkar” are different from “Evening Athkar”. They do not substitute for each other.
It is always easier to protect yourself, your house, and your family from Shaytan than to engage in the battle of expelling him from your body and life. When devils inhabit someone, they enter the body in groups; rarely does a single Shaytan reside within. Jinn within the body typically do not act alone; they attack in large groups and alternate. They receive backup support from external Jinn. Morning, evening, and bedtime Athkar create a disconnection between the inner and outer Jinn. Athkar prevents external Jinn from aiding those within. Jinn inside the body may either depart or remain subdued.
The bare minimum Morning and Evening Athkar you can’t miss:
Reciting Athkar requires an investment of time, but it significantly boosts the productivity of the remaining time. In essence, Athkar effectively economize your time and energy, particularly the mental energy expended on decision-making and problem-solving.
Morning and Evening Athkar are necessary for protection but if you absolutely can’t recite them all then, please consider this condensed version as a bare minimum expectation.
- Recite Ayah Al-Korsi once in the morning and once in the evening.
- Recite once in the evening the last 2 Ayah of Surat Al-Baqarah (the last 2 verses of the Cow chapter)
- Recite these 3 short chapters of the Quran, 3 times each in the morning and 3 times each in the evening (Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq, Surat Al-Nas).
- Say 3 times in the evening (I seek refuge in the wholeness of Allah’s words from the evil of what he created)
أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق
Transliteration: A’uthu bikalimatillahit-tammaati min sharri ma khalak - “I seek refuge in the name of Allah with whose name no harm could occur in the heavens or the earth.”
بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم
Transliteration: bismillaahil-ladhee laa yaḍurru ma‛asmihi shay’un fil-arḍi wa laa fis-samaa’i wa huwas-samee‛-ul-‛aleem.
Recite 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening. - (Allah is sufficient for me. There is none worthy of worship but Him. I have placed my trust in Him, He is Lord of the Majestic Throne.)
Recite seven times in Arabic
Ḥasbiyallāhu lā ilāha illā huwa `alayhi tawakkalt, wa huwa Rabbu ‘l-`Arshi ‘l-‘Aẓīm. - “There is no God but Allah, alone, without any partner. The Kingdom and praise belong to Him and He has the ultimate power over everything”
Transliteration: (La ilaha illa’llah, wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu’l mulku wa lahu’l hamd, wa huwa ala kulli shay’in qadir)
لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قديرRecite this Thikr (remembrance of Allah) 10 times immediately after Fajr prayers and 10 times immediately after Maghrib prayers. If you have strong Evil Magic or Mas (targeted by Shaitan) or if you are a Raqi, Repeat it 100 times a day after Fajr and 10 times after Maghreb.
(Some Hadith of Prophet Muhammed stated that the ultimate protection is achieved when the above remembrance is repeated 100 times but some other Ahadith offered a considerable degree of protection when this remembrance is repeated 10 times only.)
Surat Al-Falaq and Al-Nas as a Ruqyah
Through Allah’s compassion, healing can be found in the Quran’s shortest Surahs, which are commonly memorized by many Muslims. It may be surprising to some that these familiar, brief Surahs hold the key to healing. Surat Al-Falaq provides protection against both Magic and Evil Eye, while Surat Al-Nas primarily guards against the whispers of the demons. However, to harness the therapeutic benefits of Moaothat (Surat Al-Falaq and Al-Nas) as a Ruqyah, the repetition must be significantly high, potentially reaching hundreds of times daily.
♦ ‘Uqba Ibn Amer said, While I was traveling with God’s messenger, wind and darkness surrounded us, whereupon God’s messenger began to seek refuge in God, reciting Surat Al-Falaq and Surat Al-Nas. He then said to me, “Hold on them (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat Al-Nas), ‘Uqba, when seeking refuge in God, for no one can seek refuge in anything like them.”
♦ Prophet Muhammed said, “O Uqbah Ibn Amer, you could not recite a chapter (in Quran) that is more beloved to Allah or more eloquent than reciting Qul Aaoth Birab Al-Falaq (Al-Falaq Chapter). If you could, do not miss reciting it in your prayers.” Authentic in the book of Ibn Hiban
♦ Mother Aisha (the wife of the Prophet) narrated “When one of his (the Prophet’s) family members gets sick, He (the Prophet) would recite the Mo’aothat (Surat Al-Falaq, Al-Nas and Al-Ikhlass) and make Nafth on the sick person. Authentic Hadith
Nafth: (to blow air from the mouth, typically accompanied by little droplets of saliva. So combine both hands together and do Nafth in them after reciting each Surah, then wipe the head, face, body, and sick areas of the sick person.
Recite the Moaothat (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat Al-Nas) for an hour in the morning and then for an hour in the evening.
Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow Chapter)
Surat Al-Baqarah serves as a fundamental remedy for spiritual ailments, addressing various challenges, including struggles with different types of Jinn. It functions as a potent Ruqiah, nullifying magic and weakening the influence of Shaitan. Following the recitation, it is recommended to pray to Allah to nullify the harm caused by Shaitan. Initially, reciting the entire Surat Al-Baqarah might feel lengthy and weighty, but over time, it becomes more manageable, indicating improvement. It is advised to recite Surat Al-Baqarah daily, or at least once every 3 days, or alternatively, listen to the entire Surah in a single session while reflecting on its translated meanings. Reading Surat Al-Baqarah in its entirety helps break the hold of Shaitan on the body and mind.
Especially for those who complain of being jinxed, unlucky, and unfortunate most of the time, their remedy is to mainly read Surat Al-Baqarah daily and to stop watching porn or porn-like content.
Surah Al-Baqrah can be applied as Ruqiah to treat specific spiritual disorders. This is done by selecting the verses that address the patient’s complaints, such as Evil Eye, Creepy Sex Jinn, Anal sex obsession, etc., and reciting these specific verses repeatedly, or reciting these verses over water or oil.
How does the Sheitan fight back during Surah Al-Baqarah?
When afflicted patients recite Surat Al-Baqarah for the first time, after an interruption, or during the days they experience heightened affliction, they often encounter discomfort or irritation. Symptoms may include drowsiness, difficulty in concentration, repeated yawning, unexplained tears, persistent burping, and sensations of bowel movement or gas in the stomach. If overwhelmed with fatigue or whispers during the Ruqia, pause, perform ablution with cold water, and then resume.
Patients may have random satanic thoughts during the recitation, like: (I am too tired, too distracted. I am not prepared for Ruqia today. I think I have skipped some words or some pages in my recitation. I do not think I have Wudua. I know Allah will not accept this Ruqiah because my heart is not focused. I think I did not lock the entrance of the house or I think I left the stove on.)… etc Be assured that you haven’t left the stove on, you’ve performed Wudua, and by the grace of Allah, He will, Inshallah, accept your Ruqiah.
Patients who are conducting the Ruqia for the first time or after an interruption, are advised to do so during the day rather than at night. This practice helps to mitigate the effects of fatigue and drowsiness. As they progress, they will build strength and can choose to perform Ruqia at night if desired. Before commencing the Ruqia, it’s recommended to use the bathroom, prepare a cup of coffee and a bottle of water, adjust the room temperature, and attend to any pending tasks. Communicate with family members, spouses, or roommates to ensure a quiet environment. Silence cell phones and seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan.

Recite Surat Al-Baqarah at least once every 3 days
Ayat Al-Korsi
(The verse of the throne, number 255, the Cow chapter).
Prophet Muhammad taught us that Ayat Al-Kursi is the greatest verse in the Quran. It encompasses the majestic names and attributes of Allah, highlighting His sovereignty over the universe. Reciting it continuously for as long as possible, aiming for a hundred or even a thousand times a day, is encouraged. However, the actual number of repetitions may vary from person to person, as well as the nature of the affliction by Shaytan. Some patients prefer to time their recitations for a set duration rather than focusing solely on the number of repetitions. High repetition of Ayat Al-Kursi is particularly recommended for patients who find it challenging to read Surat Al-Baqarah in its entirety.
Recite Ayat Al-Korsi, for an hour (or at a minimum 100 times) in the morning and then for an hour in the evening.
In the case of being targeted by the Shaitan, the repetition of Ayat Al-Korsi is the main therapy. Some patients repeat Ayat Al-Korsi about 1000 times a day; to the extent that they find themselves reciting it even in their sleep.
The Scholar of Islam Ibn Taimiah mentioned that innumerable patients relied on the power in this verse to overcome the devils and void their plots.
Emergency Response:
When you sense you’re under attack by Shaytan for any reason, recite Ayat Al-Kursi seven times consecutively. This practice can lead to a noticeable improvement in how you feel.
Surah Al-Fatihah
The power of Surat Al-Fatihah as a Ruqyah and cure. One of Surah Al-Fatihah names is the “The Healer”.
♦ Prophet Muhammed said that Surat Al-Fatihah is “the greatest chapter in the Quran.” Bukhari
A group of the companions of Prophet Muhammed passed by a non-Muslim tribe. They asked the tribe to host them, but the tribe declined. At that time a scorpion bit the tribe chief. So, people from the tribe asked the companions of Prophet Muhammad if they could treat the tribe’s chief with medicine or by Ruqyah. One of the companions said: Alright, but we asked you to host us, and you declined. We may help but for compensation. The tribe promised a flock of sheep. So the companion kept reciting on the tribe’s Chief the Mother of the Book (Surat Al-Fatihah) and “Yatful” (Releasing his breath in a spit-like way accompanied by minor droplets of saliva). The tribe’s chief was completely cured. The companions were given the flock of sheep. But they refused to accept it unless the prophet approved this first. They went back to the prophet and the companion narrated the story. He told the prophet: “I only gave him Ruqiah by Al-Fatihah” The prophet smiled and said, “But how did you know it is a Ruqiah, take the flock and hold a share for me.”
Imam Al-Tirmithi points out that the companion treated the tribe chief by reciting Al-Fatihah 7 times.
Nugget: The flock of sheep was divided among the companions. The Prophet took a share of this flock. Typically anything the prophet had, he would give away to the poor and needy. However, his participation serves the point that the companion’s action is permissible. Based on this story we learn how powerful the Ruqiah of Surat Al-Fatihah is. We also learn that experimenting with anything related to religion must be approved by the prophet. Since Prophet Muhammed died, experimenting with religion has been forbidden but experimenting the Halal therapy is open and permissible. We also learn that accepting compensation in return for Ruqiah is permissible and that giving Ruqiah to non-believers is permissible.
Recite Surat Al-Fatihah 7 times consecutively
Why 7 times?
The number seven has been emphasized in various occurrences, including during the time of throwing of Jamarat (stones or pebbles) seven times during the Hajj Pilgrimage. It represents stoning the devil, just like Prophet Abraham did. That led a lot of scholars to be inclined to recommend repeating certain Surahs and Athkar seven times. However, it is just a recommendation. Muslims in general prefer odd numbers in terms of repetition.
Treatment
♦ Prophet Muhammed said, “Whoever visits a sick person, whose time of death is not here yet, and says seven time,s “I ask Allah the great, the lord of the great throne to cure you” Allah will cure this sick person from this disease.” Authentic
Transliteration: As’alullāha ‘l-`Aẓīma Rabba ‘l-`Arshil-`Aẓīmi an yashfiyak.
أَسْـأَلُ اللهَ العَـظيـم، رَبَّ العَـرْشِ العَـظيـم أَنْ يَشْفـيك
♦ Uthman Abulas said he complained to God’s messenger about the pain he had in his body, Prophet Muhammed told him to put his hand on the part of his body which was sore and say three times “In the name of Allah” and then say seven times, “I seek refuge in Allah’s might and power against the evil of what I am experiencing and trying to avert.” He said he did so, and Allah removed his trouble. Authentic Hadith in the Book of Muslim
Transliteration: Bismillāh (3 times). Then say 7 times: A`ūdhu billāhi wa qudratihi min sharri mā ajidu wa uḥādhir.
بسم الله ثلاثًا، أعوذ بعزة الله وقدرته من شر ما أجد وأحاذر سبع مرات
Ajwah Dates
Prophet Muhammed “Whoever eats first thing in the morning seven dates of the (Ajwah), he could never be harmed by poison or magic on that day.” Authentic
Other powerful Surah’s that should be considered in the recitation program are: Surat Al-Saffat, Al-Rahman, Al-Jinn, Al-Mulk, Qaf, Yasin, and Al-Hasher.
(Moses said what you have cast is magic. Allah will surely make it void, for Allah does not set right the actions of corruptors). Yunus 81
Ibn Abbas emphasized that when this verse is recited on someone afflicted by magic immediately after reciting Surat Al-Fatiha, the Moaothat (Al-Falaq, Al-Nas, Al-Ikhlas), and Ayat Al-Kursi, the potency of the Sihr will significantly diminish. He further recommended reciting this verse before going to bed to nullify the schemes of evil magicians.
“And Job, when he cried out to his Lord: “Great harm has afflicted me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful.” Al-Anbiya Chapter, verse 83
وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِي الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
When Prophet Job faced harm from Shaytan, he humbled himself before the One Lord, praising Him as the Most Merciful, and sought Allah’s assistance. Scholar Ibn Al-Qayyem, in his book Al-Fawaid, wrote that reciting this verse seven times can, by the will of Allah, mitigate the harm.
Speciality Ruqyah
The foundation of specialty Ruqyah lies in the potency of Quranic verses, extending even to individual words. Every phrase carrying a desired meaning bestows blessings and protection upon the listener, while phrases that contain warnings act as a barrier against such harm. However, the patient must listen with sincere belief in Allah’s supremacy over all creation, acknowledging that nothing occurs without His consent.
This form of Ruqyah proves highly efficient, delivering rapid results. It comprises diverse Quranic verses targeting a particular theme. Given its concentrated potency, it is recommended for the patient to listen to it rather than recite it. To harness the healing power of this Ruqyah, it should complement the overall treatment plan rather than substitute for it. If the recorded recited verses of Ruqyah prove insufficient in treating the patient, then live Ruqyah becomes essential.
Some types of Ruqyah focus on identifying the type of jinn and the nature of their harm. Identifying and naming the intruder makes them feel exposed, which often prompts them to leave.
A Raqi (practitioner of Ruqyah) should inquire into the patient’s condition through thorough questioning to ascertain the appropriate selection of verses. For instance, when a man sought Ruqyah, the Sheikh determined that treatment for the Evil Eye (Nazar) was necessary. However, upon discovering that the patient was an inventor, the Sheikh included verses relating to the creation and wisdom of Allah. Similarly, another patient afflicted with the Evil Eye underwent probing questioning, leading the Sheikh to discover their success as a businessman. Consequently, the Sheikh incorporated additional verses into the Ruqyah addressing trade, commerce, money, and business.
The Ruqiah may address different aspects of harm. For example, it may address the reason Shaitan came in the first place, which could be due to the Evil Eye. It may also address the type of harm the Shaitan caused, such as depression, or it may address the type of Jinn involved, such as a snake. Alternatively, it may be a universal Ruqiah using Surat Al-Falaq.
The patient needs to diversify the types of Ruqiah the patient listens to or recites. For example, incorporating verses that address Learning, Trade, and Business can be beneficial in some cases. If the patient suffers from Jealous Evil Eye that ruined his business, the treatment should consist of verses that address Jealous Evil Eye and verses that address business dealings.
Types of Ruqiah
Ruqiah is not just against Shaitan and Jinn. There is for example “The Revival” Ruqiah رقية الإحياء. It quotes verses from the Quran that address The Revival of the earth and humans. It is used for patients who have physical diseases but their diseases are not terminal yet. There is also the “Tranquility Ruqyah” آيات السكينة. It quotes verses from the Quran that cover Tranquility. It is beneficial for patients who struggle with anxiety. There is a type of Ruqyah called “Jinn advice Ruqyah”. It addresses the purpose of Man and Jinn’s creation, which is to worship the One Lord, and that transgression is forbidden. It talks about the day of judgment and how everyone is held liable for their actions. Believing Jinn responds well to this type of Ruqyah and refrains from harming humans.
Burn Ruqiah for example, refers to a type of Ruqiah that compiles various verses of the Quran that describes the severity of Allah’s punishment to oppressors in the Hellfire. It quotes verses from the Quran that talk about the severity of Allah’s punishment and the fierce heat of Hellfire. In the world of Jinn, the repetition of these verses feels like fire on Jinn. Shaitan realizes the severity of this type of Ruqiah and acts indifferently for as long as it can, to make the patient feel that their efforts are in vain. With persistence sudden responses and reactions from Shaitan occur as the Shaitan’s Ruqiah tolerance threshold is exceeded. Scholars prefer to start with (Advice Ruqyah) and then escalate when necessary.
Note: For the specialty Ruqia to effectively address a spiritual disorder, the patient must be in a position and state of mind that facilitates the transition of Ruqia’s effects to the spiritual realm. This can be achieved by clearing the mind, lying flat on your back on a preferably flat surface, and either closing your eyes or covering them.
Popular types of Speciality Ruqyah:
1- Revival
These verses are known to have a significant impact on conditions considered beyond hope, such as coma, brain death, various cancers, and when the patient is in a state of dire illness, unresponsive, and unaware of their surroundings. They are also believed to offer benefits in cases of mental health challenges, cognitive impairments, organ degeneration, and similar afflictions.
2- Sexual abuse by the Jinn
These verses condemn and void the abuse of the Jinn. This type of Ruqyah treats repeated dreams of being sexually abused and intercoursed, random pop-up sexual thoughts urging for abnormal sexual practices.
3- Fortresses
These verses help uncover hidden Jinn and Shaitan that have built shields and fortresses to protect them against Ruqiah. This Ruqiah is important in treating stagnant cases that have stopped showing progress.
4- Sustenance
These verses are recited on those who are afflicted with evil eye or witchcraft and are restricted from earning a living because they avoid work because they feel exhausted or uninterested.
5- Exit
Very effective in removing Jinn and Shaitan from the body and out of the house. This Ruqyah is recited at the end of the session as a means of cleaning the body.
6- War and Fighting
These verses express stern consequences for rebellious and obstinate jinn, particularly emphasizing the possibility of their being killed. Such outcomes are depicted as occurring in the later stages, following the establishment of guidance and warnings.
7- Sea
These verses are recited to expose the diving jinn, as they are one of the types that may not appear except when reading such verses. They are also read to diagnose witchcraft that was cast in the sea and to treat patients who see in their dreams that they are drowning. Frequently these verses cause the patient affected by a diving Jinn to experience shocks and screams during the Ruqiah session.
8- Birds
This type of Ruqiah addresses patients who are afflicted by a flying Jinn. These patients often see dreams of free falling, flying, etc. Surprisingly once they are recited on the afflicted patient, they subconsciously make unvoluntary arm gestures of flying.
9- Planets and Stars
This Ruqiah includes verses that address the creation of the Sun, moon, stars, and planets. It is important to incorporate this Ruqiah into the patient’s treatment program if the jinn is resistant to Ruqiah, especially when the patient experiences attacks on specific days of the week or month.
Other types of Ruqiah are for Mountains, Jews, Christians, Divorce etc.
The specialty Ruqyah can be preceded by reciting a preparatory Ruqyah to enhance its effectiveness. The Preparatory general Ruqyah could either be:
1- Listening to or recite Al-Fatihah and Al-Baqarah, once each.
2- Listening to or recite Al-Fatihah 7 times, then Ayat Al-Korsi (about 50 – 100 times), Surat Al-Falaq (50 – 100 times) and Surat Al-Nas (50 – 100 times).
Why is the Preparatory Ruqyah recommended?
A common complaint patients have is that the Ruqyah is effective only the first time but later on it does not feel as strong. Why?
1- The Ruqiah is applied to Shaitan, which is a living being that will not sit idle waiting to die. If the Ruqiah is not long enough to destroy or remove the Shaitan, Shaitan will quickly build knots and shields to help him survive if this Ruqiah is recited again. This is why, we advise you to avoid listening to the Speciality Ruqiah if you are on the go and will not be able to finish the Ruqiah in full. However, Jinn could never build knots against Al-Fatihah, Al-Falaq, Al- Nas and Al-Korsi.
2- The world of Jinn consists of evil master Jinn and evil slave Jinn. Sometimes the Master Jinn chains and ties up the slave Jinn so that do not escape the body during Ruqiah. This is why many patients feel something inside that wants to leave but it can’t and they even see when their eyes are closed images of chains and handcuffs. So, the Preparatory Ruqyah unties the Jinn and destroys their shields.
3- According to Hadith Shaitan can be the size of a fly or the size of a house. It extends and contracts depending on how powerful it feels. Quran and Athkar when they recited for a long time approximately an hour, shrinks down Jinn. You can get rid of Jinn when it is small and weak but not when it is big and strong.
Where do I get Speciality Ruqiah from?
Numerous Ruqyah sessions can be found on YouTube, yet many are created by amateurs who assert expertise without proper qualifications. Often, these individuals make misleading claims to attract more viewers for profit. Additionally, YouTube’s platform introduces further issues with advertisements, for unsubscribed members.
The most accurate list of verses is compiled in Arabic PDF files for free by Sheikh Khalid Al-Hibshi at this link:

Powerful Shield
♦ Prophet Muhammed said, “Whoever says ‘There is no God but Allah, alone, without any partner. The Kingdom and praise belong to Him and He has the ultimate power over everything’ “ one hundred times a day, it is the same for him as freeing 10 slaves, One hundred good actions are recorded for him and one hundred wrong actions are erased from his chart, and it is a protection for him against Sheitan for that day until the night. No one does better than this person did except, for someone who repeats this statement even more.” Book of Bukhari and Muslim
Transliteration: (La ilaha illa’llah, wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu’l mulku wa lahu’l hamd, wa huwa ala kulli shay’in qadir)
لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير
This particular verse holds significant importance in Islam and spiritual therapy. It has been frequently mentioned in numerous statements by the Prophet. It is the principal Thikr of all the Prophets of Allah and is especially effective in warding off demons. When patients consistently pray and ask Allah to guide them in their therapy, they often receive guidance in their dreams, indicating that they should resort to this specific Thikr.
Repeat this statement 100 times or more, even 1000 times, in the morning and again in the evening. Many patients reported that after reciting this Thikr (remembrance), they had a vision dream from Allah that guided them to their specific cure.
Reciting this Thikr (remembrance) 100 times a day is a shield therapists rely on for protection otherwise they could be hurt by the revenge of Shaitan.
How did Angel Jibril do Ruqyah to Prophet Muhammed?
Angel Jibril came to Prophet Muhammed and asked, “Muhammed, Have you asked Allah for help?” Prophet Muhammed replied “Yes”. Angel Jibril did Ruqyah for Prophet Muhammed by saying: “In the name of Allah I do Ruqyah for you, against everything that is harming you, against the evil of every soul or envious eye, Allah may heal you, in the name of Allah I do Ruqyah for you).” Authentic in the book of Muslim
Transliteration: “Bismillaah arqeeka min kulli shay’in yu’dheeka, wa min sharri kulli nafsin aw ‘aynin haasid Allah yashfeek, bismillaah arqeek”
What is Seclusion Therapy?
It is to disengage from everything around you, a sort of Itikaf. No phone, no text message, no Facebook, no TV, no chatting etc. One could use the bathroom, eat, brush their teeth, and shower. It is recommended to fast during this time. This time is dedicated to reciting the entire book of Quran, repenting to Allah, and praying continuously. Typically patients apply this therapy for 3, 5, or 7 days after arranging with their family. During this time, men should pray all 5 prayers in the Masjid, for females, Prophet Muhammed recommended that they pray at home in general. This therapy is used when nothing else works. It is so severe on the Shaitan and overcomes their tolerance point.
Read the entire Quran if you can. If you do not speak Arabic, read the translation while listening to the verses. There are 2 benefits to reading the Book in full:
What is the vibration treatment?
This is the preferred method of listening to Ruqyah for patients who choose the route of self-treatment. Get a Bluetooth speaker. Be in a state of Wudua and dress modestly. Place the speaker closely on the chest. Play Athan and Ruqyah as loud as safely acceptable. Let the vibrations of the Ruqyah penetrate your body. Let the Athan or Ruqiah play for about an hour or as long as you can.
Note: In respect for the Quranic content being recited, the speaker must be positioned above the patient but not underneath their body during the Ruqiah.
Why are there too many treatment programs?
“Someone was told to read Surat Yasin, someone else was told to read Surat Al-Jinn, Surat Al-Saffat… etc. They all agree that repetition has to be very high in number. Why are there too many conflicting treatment programs?”
Exactly, Just now you got the point. Scholars explain that the entire book of the Quran is a Ruqyah. The point is that it is Allah who gives the cure. The cure is in his words. Whichever way you take, you will not go wrong. Just be in a frequent remembrance of Allah with your heart and tongue together, while reciting His own words. The remembrance must include the tongue and not be only by the heart.
On the other hand, it could be the therapist’s fault. Jinn, like humans, exhibit distinct differences among themselves. Some may struggle to tolerate vinegar, while others may be sensitive to musk scent. Additionally, certain verses of the Quran may be intolerable for some Jinn while others may not have such reactions. This variability poses a challenge for therapists who may observe positive responses to specific therapies in certain patients and hastily claim to have found the ultimate treatment for a specific disorder. However, this assertion is unfounded, as individual differences among Jinn must be acknowledged and considered.
What if I stalled in my fight against Sihr, Sheitan Hasad, and Nazar/Ayn?
A few things can work in your favor. Hajj, Umrah, Sadaqah (charity), and sacrificing animals for the sake of Allah and in his name to feed the poor and needy. These actions are very effective in subtly empowering you.
How to treat a stubborn patient who declines treatment?
This is a common question, particularly from wives and moms. You can still help by:
- Doing Ruqiah into the food and drink of the patient without their awareness. Fill the patient’s bottle of water and do Ruqiah into this water. Do Ruqiah in all the food the patient eats without their knowledge.
- Recite Quran in their bedroom when they are out of the house. Recite Ruqiah discreetly on them during their sleep.
- Begin by reciting Ruqyah, then gently blow and lightly spit into your hands. Following this, proceed to wipe over the person’s head, face, and body, as if embracing them.
- Do Ruqiah in their shampoo, creams, lotions, etc. (we explained in a different section how to do that).
- Donate to needy Muslims with a sincere intention, aiming for the reward to contribute towards the healing of your loved ones, rather than giving to ban handlers.
- In the presence of the patient, talk to other supporting family members or friends, on the phone for example, on how to fortify themselves against the Shaitan, so that the patient learns indirectly.
- Take the patient to Umrah or Hajj (Pilgrimage in Mecca).
- Pray at night (Qyam) and supplicate to Allah to guide and cure your patient.
