Typically, when a spiritual disorder is new, diagnosis is difficult and treatment is easy, but when it becomes established, diagnosis becomes easy and treatment becomes difficult. There are instances where psychological disorders can lead to spiritual disorders, and vice versa. Interestingly, some patients experience both psychological and spiritual disorders simultaneously.

The number of people suffering from Satanic harm is vast and often unrecognized. Many individuals are unaware that they are experiencing a Spiritual Disorder, yet they face a range of psychological, social, and physical issues without understanding the underlying cause. The symptoms tend to become more distinct once treatment with Ruqiah is initiated.

Distinguish between experiencing hurt and being harmed. Hurt involves temporary pain without lasting consequences, while harm entails enduring pain due to sustained damage. The protection offered here aims to prevent harm, not temporary discomfort. Therefore, despite recitations, you may still encounter headaches, stomachaches, stinging, nightmares, bloating, etc., until fully treated. If you expect invincibility by reciting Athkar and Quran, that expectation is incorrect.

The goal is to treat the root underlying cause, not the surface-level symptoms. Therefore, the patient should prioritize Ruqiah therapy over symptoms treatment.

What are the symptoms of being inflicted with Jinn / Shaitan?

Before we cover this point, it is important to refrain from self-diagnosis. Do not be superstitious that you would mix disease states like fibromyalgia, neuropathy, or schizophrenia with Shaitan and Sihr. Speak to your doctor and your psychiatrist first and foremost.

Symptoms include convulsive, sudden, and irregular movement in random areas of your body (twitches), Moving lumps in the body, Excessive, unusual yawning, Suicidal thoughts, Depression, and Repeated Nightmares (where one sees things like ugly faces, black dogs, or snakes. being sexually abused, falling off a cliff, or being chased.).

Panic attacks and Loss of libido specifically toward your spouse. Moving pain or numbness in the calves and feet area. Fear, anger, or crying while listening to Ruqia. Bloating, gas, and constipation despite being cleared by their medical doctor from gastrointestinal or psychiatric issues, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Inflicted patients tend to live in solitary. They avoid gatherings of people, friends, and family gradually and without the patient himself noticing. Yet, they feel lonely and depressed at home especially at and after dusk time. Hasad and Nazar patients experience symptoms of being exhausted, out of energy, and tired all the time. A simple task could feel like moving a mountain.

Since Jinn influences hormone levels, it can impact a patient’s sexual drive. Jinn could cause hypersexuality for unmarried singles and low sex drive for married couples. Take Indian Costus if you or your husband suffer from low libido.

Possessed patients are likely to experience reactions from Shaitan during Ruqia. Shaitan makes patients feel sleepy so they stop the Ruqia. Patients keep yawning repeatedly in a way they never experienced before. Sheitan could make patients experience headaches, chest aches and tightness, and involuntary movement in the head or neck.

Patients are advised to avoid falling asleep during Ruqia sessions by engaging in activities like performing Wudu or standing. They should keep the recorded Ruqia playing continuously in a loud enough volume. These reactions are positive indicators as they signify that the Ruqia is impacting the Jinn.

Supplements: Supplementing with vitamins B complex, zinc, vitamin D, and magnesium may potentially alleviate the physical strain associated with spiritual disorders.

Why do I struggle more in the evening?

Humans are more active during the day time however Shaitan is more active in the evening and around sunset time.

♦ Prophet Muhammed said “When it gets dark or when it is evening time, hold your kids inside, that is because Sheitan spread at that time. When an hour has passed, release them.” Authentic in the book of Bukhari and Muslim.

♦ Prophet Muhammed also said: “Do not release your cattle or kids when the sun sets, until dusk time ends, because Sheitan is released between sunset and end of dusk.” Authentic in the Book of Muslim

What are the diseases that Spiritual Disorders cause?

Do not self-diagnose. See your medical doctor if you have any health issues.

Jinn/Shaitan primarily target glands such as the thyroid, pituitary, or adrenal glands. They can also induce diabetes by affecting pancreatic endocrine hormones. Patients afflicted with the Evil Eye often experience acne and pimples, while those affected by Hasad may suffer from hair loss and pale face. Hypothyroidism is common among individuals targeted by Nazar. Those affected by Black Magic, whether instigated by humans or Jinn, may encounter colon issues, constipation, muscle mass loss, Sciatica, lower joint pains, and Polycystic Ovary syndrome. In females, elevated levels of Prolactin hormone due to Black Magic can impair fertility.

Let your breath during the recitation blow air into the honey/olive oil throughout the recitation. Apply it on the affected spots. These spots will eventually disappear inshallah.

Even after being cleared from spiritual disorders, some psychological disorders like irritability could linger before they are gone as the patient will need to re-learn normal behavioral patterns. There could be medical diseases that will cause permanent damage even after being treated against the infliction. Yet, some spiritual disorder-triggered diseases will only be treated by a medical doctor even past infliction.

Also, apply the Rumi Blend bathe treatment, which is explained in detail on this site in the section (How to physically remove the harm of Shaitan.)

Seek medical treatment from your doctor but do Ruqiah on the medication the doctor prescribes to you. Note that most patients, will lose even more hair when they apply the treatment, do not panic because this hair was going to fall off anyway.

Coughing during Ruqiah

Repeated coughing is a sign of infliction. It can be treated by performing Hijama on the sternum or by covering the chest with a Mint or Blackseed oil diluted by Ruqiah olive oil.

Diagnosis

Diagnosis can be compared to trying to open a closed door without knowing the correct key. You try various keys because not all Jinn respond to and tolerate the same provocative.

For a quick diagnosis, 2 questions are asked of the patient:

1- Do you see constant nightmares or do you experience sleep disorders like sleep paralysis, sleep terror or insomnia?

2- Are you able to read Surat Al-Baqarah in full or listen to Surat Al-Baqarah in full (while reading the translated subtitles) without getting reactions that make you stop or feel bored?

What do inflicted patients feel during Ruqiah?

The symptoms vary among individuals based on the type of adversary causing them harm. Those affected often suffer from frequent yawning, tremors primarily in the hands and feet, sensations of tingling and burning, involuntary crying and screaming, yawning, coughing, pulsating movements in various parts of the body, and nausea leading to vomiting.

How to diagnose Evil Magic, Hasad, and Evil Eye?

Avoid misdiagnosing psychological disorders with Spiritual disorders and vice versa. The first thing is figuring out if the patient suffers from hallucinations for example because of a medical condition or as a side effect of a medication they take.

Patients are asked if their symptoms get worse on certain days or certain occasions like getting a headache every day specifically at noon. Patient are asked if they have negative reactions to certain people or in certain places. For example, if there if they feel sick in a specific place ask them to search the place for Evil Magic items and to spray the doors and walls with Ruqia water.

To differentiate between being inflicted by Evil Magic versus Evil Eye, The therapist observes the reaction of patients while listening to Quran. Those inflicted by Evil eye feel so relaxed and laid back while listening to the recitation. However, Patients inflicted with Evil magic , tend to feel pain and anxiety during the recitation.

Some Raqi base their diagnosis on what the Jinn says during Ruqia. The default is Jinn have no credibility as they habitually lie. However, there have been cases where the Jinn are honest momentarily under the pressure of Ruqiah and give advice to the patients on future lifestyle changes as when they advise the patient to read more of Surah Al-Baqarah and to stop dancing in front of the mirror.

Dreams are a major factor in diagnosing patients. Some patients see a specific person creating satanic harm for them. Out of the mercy of Allah, patients could see in their dreams what brought this harm on them and what is the cure in their specific case.

Lifestyle is another way of diagnosing the patient. For examples, patients who shower too frequently about 3 times a day or more ,could be indicative of being inflicted with Diving Jinn type. In this case reciting verses that address the sea, water and drowning could have tremendous effect on the Jinn inside the patient.

Watch for reactions but do not count only on them

During the practice of Ruqiah, if there is a need to identify the specific type of spiritual disorder affecting the patient, recite and repeat verses associated with each disorder individually. For instance, recite verses addressing Hasad and Ayn, observe for reactions, then proceed with verses related to Mas (Satanic Harassment) and magic, watching for corresponding reactions. However, diagnosing spiritual disorders is complex due to some degree of overlapping. Patients experiencing Sihr (magic) might still exhibit reactions to verses related to Mas. Scholars emphasize that the realm of the unseen is intricate and invisible.

Therefore, a Raqi (practitioner of Ruqiah) should exercise caution and humility, using expressions like “I think” or “I guess” in their assessments. They should avoid giving definitive diagnoses, as certainty about the invisible is known only to Allah. The Raqi, out of respect and acknowledgment of their limited knowledge, should always approach such matters with humility.

If a patient is too unwell to undergo Ruqiah directly, begin by administering Ruqiah water for them to drink at home, as much and as often as possible. After this preparatory step, you can then proceed to perform Ruqiah on the patient.

Our adversaries (Shaitan or Jinn) are not the same, depending on the type of Sheitan you struggle with, you may respond to certain Ruqia’s and treatment protocols differently than someone else. So what works for others may not work for you and vice versa.

Diagnosing the patient is not just limited to the rolling of the eyes, change in voice, and hand gestures. It could include how the patient feels internally like burning sensation, migraines, and chest pain. Even the patient’s thoughts during Ruqiah count as part of the diagnosis. Sometimes the patient feels a reaction toward the Raqi himself like wanting to attack the Raqi or feeling that the Raqi’s hand is too heavy and painful.

In some cases, spraying the patient with Ruqia water can reveal if they are afflicted, as they may experience painful or irritating reactions. Alternatively, practitioners may use Musk fragrance oil or black seed oil for diagnosis, observing the patient’s reaction for sudden seizures or loss of consciousness. Drinking Ruqia water may induce vomiting in afflicted patients, aiding in diagnosis. Additionally, some therapists administer a mixture of Ruqia water, vinegar, and honey for the patient to drink before the session begins as part of the diagnostic process.

Hijama cups can also serve as a diagnostic tool. When a Hijama practitioner places the cups on with mild suction on the patient without making incisions, the patient may experience nervousness and unexplained pain.

Observing the movement and position of fingers and toes is crucial for diagnosis. Specific involuntary gestures of the hands and fingers provide insight into the type of affliction. Therefore, patients are instructed not to move during Ruqiah, as Raqi (therapist) monitor these involuntary movements closely. If patients add their own movements, Raqi must discern whether these are voluntary or involuntary.

Smell

Some Raqi may sniff the clothes of the patient or even smell their hands. Patients afflicted with Mas (Satanic Possession) may occasionally smell like sulfur. Affected patients sometimes notice a strong sulfur odor from their urine, but urinalysis does not detect any abnormalities.

Choice of Verses

Some patients will only react to specific words only during the Ruqia. That is why If the Raqi does not understand the meaning in Arabic their skill becomes limited. Some patients will react only to verses that talk about the sea, water, or diving, or maybe they will respond only to verses that cover sex and adultery. In this case, the Raqi will change the Ruqia to be a compilation of verses that talk about that specific topic.

During Ruqia, Raqi’s can use verses of the Quran that address a certain topic even if these verses in the Quran and meant for a different topic. For example, In the Al-Baqarah chapter, verse 137, Allah says If they believe in the same as you have believed in, then they have been guided. But if they turn away, then they are in schism. God will protect you against them; for He is the Hearer, the Knower.” Here the Raqi could quote from this verse “God will protect you against them” and keep repeating it.

Complex Infliction

If there are multiple spiritual disorders (complex infliction) always start with treating Ayn and Hasad first. If someone makes evil magic to someone else, this means that the person who requested the Sihr to be created is consumed with hate and jealousy.

Distinguishing between possession by Shaitan and possession by Jinn is important. Unlike Jinn, Shaitan typically remains silent during Ruqia. It does not alter the patient’s voice and it does not manifest in noticeable eye movement

The treatment process does not necessarily conclude with the departure of a Jinn from the body, as there may be multiple Jinns inhabiting the host, typically with the weakest departing first. Consequently, it is challenging for a Raqi (a practitioner who performs Ruqyah) to definitively declare a body completely free of Jinn. Assurance often relies on the patient’s own sensations and feedback, particularly their feeling that something has exited their body.

Evidence that Shaitan can settle inside the human body

Both Prophet Muhammed and Prophet Jesus treated patients who had Jinn possession. Here are examples from the life of Prophet Muhammed.

♦ A woman came to prophet Muhammed and said “This is my son. Seven years ago something wrong started taking over him about twice a day. Prophet Muhammed said “Bring him closer”, and she brought him closer to the prophet. He spittled in his mouth and said “Get out you enemy of Allah, I am the prophet of Allah.” The young man was cured.

♦ It was narrated that ‘Uthman bin Abul-‘As said: “When the Messenger of Allah appointed me as governor of Ta’if, I began to get confused during my prayer until I no longer knew what I was doing. When I noticed that, I traveled to the Messenger of Allah, and he said: ‘The son of Abul-‘As?’ I said: ‘Yes, Messenger of Allah.’ He said: ‘What brings you here?’ He said: ‘ Messenger of Allah, I get confused during my prayer until I do not know what I am doing.’ He said: ‘That is Shaytan. Come here.’ So I came close to him, and sat on my feet then he struck my chest with his hand and spittled in my mouth and said: ‘Get out, Enemy of Allah!’ He did that three times, then he said: ‘Get on with your work.’” ‘Uthman said: “Indeed, I never felt confused (during my prayer) after that.” Authentic Grade: Sahih Darussalam, Book 31, Hadith 113
